US Upland cotton sales down 54%, Pima up 36% this week: USDA

Net sales of Upland cotton in the US for the 2024-25 season dropped 54 per cent week-on-week to 128,900 RB, with major buyers being Turkiye, Pakistan, and Vietnam.
Pima sales rose 36 per cent to 1,700 RB, driven by Costa Rica, India, and Japan.
Exports for both Upland and Pima cotton fell, with Vietnam and Peru leading as primary destinations, according to the USDA report.Read More
