Tired of traffic and parking hassles at Disneyland? Don’t want to pay $20 to park or discover that the parking garage is full when you get there?
Well, here’s an idea: Starting on Jan. 14, you can ride an express bus route that starts in San Bernardino, goes through Riverside and ends up at Disneyland, directly in front of the park.
And, the best news of all, it only costs $3 each way. A 30-day pass costs $75, and prices are even cheaper for children 46 inches tall and under, seniors and the disabled.
“We expect the service to be very popular,” said Brad Weaver, spokesman for the Riverside Transit Agency, which will operate the buses. “It’s not just for entertainment, it’s also for employees, because Disneyland is a large employment center for our residents.”
Travel time for the Commuterlink Express Bus 200 is expected to be 90-110 minutes, depending on boarding location. Luckily, these commuter link buses have wi-fi, charging ports and comfy seats.
Weaver said he expects the buses to be full, once people become acquainted with the new route.
Buses will run to Disneyland seven days a week, with schedules that vary according to whether they are on a weekday or weekend. Routes will start in San Bernardino at 3:42 a.m. weekdays, and 6 a.m. on weekends. The last bus back from the park will leave Anaheim at 9:29 p.m. weekdays, 9:09 p.m. weekends.

Cost: $3 for general boarding. $2 for seniors/disabled/veterans. Day Pass (available for purchase on the bus) is $7 general and $5 for senior/disabled/veterans. 30-Day Pass (available at pass outlets and via RTA website) is $75 general and $50 for seniors/disabled/veterans.
