SANTA ANA — A pedestrian was killed by a hit-and-run driver late Thursday night, Jan. 11, in Santa Ana, police said.
The collision was reported at 11:23 p.m. in the 1100 block of West 17th Street, Cmdr. Michael Claborn said. Police found the victim on a sidewalk. He died at the scene.
As of late Thursday night police had not obtained a description of the car that struck the victim. The incident remains under investigation.
