Zucca was established in 1986 by two lovely, now older, ladies Akemi Tominaga and Kumiko Ueno. Upon their retirement, in 2011, Zucca Model Agency was taken over by former head bookers Toshimi Ichiki and Kentaro Nagi. Toshimi comes from the land of art music whilst Nagi comes from a strong business background. This dynamic duo makes Zucca a force to be reckoned with. Boasting the reputation of Japan’s leading agency for Tokyo Fashion Week. Zucca currently represents a successful range of international models but will soon be breaking into the booming industry, in Japan, of Asian models with their new section Asian-Z.
