Fashion museum
Although SCAD is the Savannah College of Art and Design, its new fashion museum SCAD FASH opened in Atlanta in October 2015 with a premiere show dedicated to the work of Oscar de la Renta. A companion to the college’s SCAD Museum of Art, the new museum has some 27,000 square feet dedicated to clothes, textiles, jewelry, and photography, as well as a lecture hall and a media lounge.
