BIELLA YARN – SUDWOLLE

Behind Biella Yarn stands the family-operated company Sudwolle. Sudwolle was founded in 1966. In 1972 the company’s first spinning mills were build in southern Germany. In 1997 the acquisition of Textilegruppe Hof helped broaden the company’s portfolio to include technical textiles as well as dying and finishing facilities.

In the 90’s international expansion began and Sudwolle has developed and entered new markets ever since.  In 2000 Biella Yarn by Sudwolle was founded in Italy, uniting the tradition and experience of Sudwolle with fresh ideas and contemporary creations for the knitting yarn market.
