Bangladesh’s inflation rate drops to 10.89% in Dec from Nov’s 11.38%

Bangladesh’s inflation rate fell to 10.89 per cent in December 2024 from 11.38 per cent in November, official statistics show.
Non-food inflation edged down to 9.26 per cent in the month compared to 9.39 per cent the previous month.

Vietnam’s CPI rises 3.63% in 2024, meets National Assembly’s target

Vietnam’s consumer price index last year rose to 3.63 per cent YoY, meeting the National Assembly’s target, according to the General Statistics Office (GSO).
The index went up by 2.87 per cent YoY in Q4 2024, and by 2.94 per cent YoY in December.
GSO attributed the rise to the hike in prices of food and services, the fallout of natural disasters and growing demand during holidays and celebrations.Read More
