US Upland cotton sales down 54%, Pima up 36% this week: USDA

Net sales of Upland cotton in the US for the 2024-25 season dropped 54 per cent week-on-week to 128,900 RB, with major buyers being Turkiye, Pakistan, and Vietnam.
Pima sales rose 36 per cent to 1,700 RB, driven by Costa Rica, India, and Japan.

Japan’s Adastria reports $515.4 mn in Q3 revenue, up 7.9%

Adastria Group’s revenue amounted to ¥75.8 billion (~$515.44 million) in Q3 FY25, an increase of 7.9 per cent YoY.
The gross profit was ¥42,577 million (~$289.52 million), with a gross margin of 56.1 per cent.
For 9M FY25, revenue grew 8.3 per cent YoY to ¥220.1 billion (~$1.497 billion).

Turkiye’s apparel exports drop 3.96% YoY in Jan-Nov 2024

Turkiye’s apparel exports fell by 3.96 per cent YoY to $16.23 billion in January–November 2024 but rose by 8.02 per cent in November to $1.48 billion.
Knitted apparel dropped by 1.1 per cent, and non-knitted fell by 7.6 per cent in the period.
Imports of non-knitted goods grew 17 per cent YoY in January–October.
