Ties reviewed at 19th India-Iran Foreign Office Consultations in Delhi

At the 19th India-Iran Foreign Office Consultations in New Delhi yesterday, both sides comprehensively reviewed their ties, including the development of the Chabahar port, and means to boost trade and economic engagement.
Iran reportedly requested India at the meeting to explore ways to resume procurement of its crude oil.

India Budget 2025: CITI calls for DBT scheme in cotton procurement

CITI has urged the government to replace the cotton procurement system with a Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) scheme in the 2025–26 Budget.
