Museo Frida Kahlo

Frida Kahlo’s Casa Azul (Blue House) is one of the most popular tourist destinations in all of Mexico City, thanks to Kahlo’s popularity in the U.S. and Europe. While many of her paintings are of course on display here, she also had an impressive and sizable collection of clothes, including some of the gowns inspired by traditional Mexican handiwork that she wore in paintings like “Self Portrait in a Velvet Dress.” Thanks to a partnership with Vogue Mexico, the clothes are as carefully cared for as any of the paintings.
