Almost 70 years ago Prime Yarns was started by Mr. Bachraj Shroff to import lint to supply to the spinning mills in India. This was followed by sales of yarn to the domestic markets. The thriving business started export of yarn in 1974. Mr. Karan Shroff joined Prime Yarns in 2004 and strengthened the firm’s capabilities by increasing the volume of yarn exports multi fold by way of spreading to several new markets and also by adding export of knitted fabrics, cotton lint and comber noils from India. ‘Commitment to customer’ has been the byword for the three generations since the last 10 decades.
